Pastor Isaac’s Spiritual Journey

Pastor Isaac’s spiritual journey is motivated by four points from his favorite scripture found in 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4: “Spend time in prayer, have faith, always trust God, work hard, and do everything with love in hope that the Lord will lead.”

About Pastor Isaac Hanna

Pastor Isaac Hanna was born and raised in Egypt to Malak and Linda Hanna. He has four sisters, one brother, and he is the third child born to his parents. Isaac is married to Heba Hanna, and they have two amazing boys, Michael and Marten.

Before Isaac and his family moved to the United States in October of 2014, Isaac served as the vice-principal of the religion department and men’s dean at Nile Union Academy for six years, and after that he pastored district churches in upper Egypt.

Isaac studied at Middle East University in Lebanon and finished his Master’s degree at Andrews University in May of 2019. He feels very blessed to now be able to serve the Lord in the Potomac Conference.

He served as Fredericksburg SDA Church’s Congregational Care Pastor. Today, Pastor Isaac Hanna is the Senior Pastor of Patterson Avenue SDA Church, Richmond, Virginia.

Isaac’s family’s spiritual lives have several factors – one of which is being part of a community of faith that nurtures their walk with Jesus, fulfills their human yearning for social contentment, and extends support in times of need. They always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in their prayers.

They remember before our God and Father, your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For they know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that He has chosen you.
